We are just back from our 12-day tour to Yunnan, long planned and waited for. It was our second time with Yunnan Minority Travel. Once again you tailored the tour according to our ideas and interests and succeeded in surprising us! Thanks to Sunny we learned a lot about history, traditions and customs, and, of course, food. We always felt in safe hands and the organization was just perfect with enough on spot flexibility. My husband and I visited Yunnan and Sunny of Yunnan Minority Travel arranged every detail of the trip. We visited Kunming, Dali, Weishan, Shaxi, Lijiang and Shangri-La. Sunny arranged our driver, booked our flights and train tickets and Gerard booked our hotels. Sunny herself guided us. We enjoyed her knowledge of the cultures of Yunnan and her humor. Yunnan is absolutely beautiful and if you have not been there, go! Make it your next exciting destination. We have used their services again, and will continue to do so

We contacted Yunnan Minority Travel (YMT) in December 2022 by E-mail requesting to tailor make a private 12 days tour in February/March 2023 to suit our preferences and budget. Sunny responded without delay (time zone difference allowed). The tour started after visiting our relatives in Kunming. With numerous E-mail and Wechat correspondence, our tour itinerary was designed. We are very satisfied with Sunny's suggestions on places to visit and attractions, with her choice of hotels (clean and comfortable), with the service provided by the driver throughout the tour. This was a superb tour... beautifully crafted, taking us through the long history of Yunnan province and travelling from the snow mountains in the North to the sub-tropical warmth of the South. The accommodations were  as wonderful and the food experiences truly memorable. Sunny is not only a fount of knowledge but a wonderful host and has a great sense of humour. Sunny went to great lengths to provide us with experiences much beyond expectations and we cannot thank her enough.

I arranged a day trip with Sunny on very short notice. I am so glad that I did! We cycled for 60km along very scenic Erhai Lake, with tours through several small villages. Sunny provided many wonderful insights on Bai culture, and made the day very enjoyable and informative. She speaks great English, and made sure that we had plenty of opportunities for photo opps along the way. She even prepared a very special tea break at her hotel -- which is situated right on the lake. I would highly recommend this tour with Sunny!
